Bus Safety Day

Wilson students did an excellent job yesterday of showing Wilson PRIDE during our Bus Safety Day.
The students were taken through rotations to encourage safe behaviors on the bus. Each student participated in a walk-through of bus procedures. During those procedures, students were given the opportunity to practice safety on a bus with their peers. Lessons included were how to sit in the seat properly, keeping head, hands and objects in the bus and not out the window, reporting important information that could harm themselves or others, preventing bullying, safety when entering and exiting the bus and safety when around a bus outside of school. Please talk with your students about their day to review the safety tips learned.
We would like to give a special thank you to transportation for allowing us the opportunity to have a bus on site all day and to Ms. Vickie for sharing her bus with us! We appreciate you!
